You will notice that some exercises will have reps and sets allocated in them already as you add them to your clients Rehab Plan:

The example above shows that an eccentric calf lower is defaulted to have 3 sets of 15 reps. This follows Alfredson's 1998 gold standard eccentric calf lower programme for achilles tendinopathy.
The sets and reps are a suggestion only and you may change them to whatever suits your patients needs. We have entered sets and reps to aid the speed of delivery of your programme to the patient, not to dictate how you prescribe your exercise.
Another example in the MyPhysioRehab library is all stretches defaulting to have a 30 second hold. Again this is to follow common best practice and therefore may negate the need to change to a different hold time.
So in summary, exercises that have a research supported protocol behind them, may have sets and reps set in the default to speed up your ability to create a programme and negate the need for extra editing. Please feel free to edit the default to suit your patients needs.
If you have a suggestion regarding an exercise that should have the default sets and reps modified then please do so here.
