We all have our own favourite exercises to prescribe for certain injuries or perhaps you need to modify an exercise to make it more specific to that patient. Using the "My Custom Exercises" feature will allow you to make your own exercise library so you can further personalise a clients Rehab Plan.
Here is how to make a "Custom Exercise" from scratch:
Click the
icon in the "My Custom Exercises" column in the admin console:

or use the drop down menu at the top of the screen:

Here you can enter the exercise name, add an image and set the exercise to be used for only you or for your entire practice. You can even set your default sets and reps for the exercise (You can always change this later when editing a clients programme and even change from reps to a hold as you normally would now).

The exercise text is then entered in the content section.
The Video box allows you to enter a web address for a video demonstration of the exercise e.g. a YouTube Video. Just paste the address into the box and we will display it for you when the video icon is clicked. Currently this field only accepts YouTube video URLs.
The Free text box is an added feature to make it easy for you to find the exercise you want quickly. So if it is an exercise that has multiple names you could enter its' alternative names here. Or you could enter pieces of equipment that may be used in the exercise. e.g. An ankle balance exercise may use a wobble board but your exercise name is "Single leg balance". Add the term "wobble board" in the free text section so if you search "wobble board" in the Rehab Plan building screen you will get your exercise "Single Leg Balance" in the results as well.
When you want to add an exercise from your own Library, just click the "My Exs" tab to see all of your exercises and select the one you want to add (see below).

You can also create a Custom Exercise for a patient "on the fly". This means when you are building a Rehab Plan for a client you can then click "Add Custom Exercise" (see image below) and enter the details as described above.

Note: Once you save the exercise, you can either add it straight to the Rehab Plan you are working on or leave it in your exercise library for later.
This feature will allow you to build a library that is specific to your practice and patients. If you think your exercise should be in our generic library already then suggest it here and we will endeavour to fulfil our subscribers requirements.
Happy Prescribing!
